SOLIPORT has installed the largest solar power plant over a car park - Soliport

We have installed the largest ever Solar carport in Lithuania and the Baltic States, with a capacity of almost 250 kw.

This power plant will generate over 20 MWh of electricity per year. This is enough electricity to charge around 4,000 electric cars.

The power plant is connected directly to a large EV charging site with 40 Elinta CityCharge slow chargers and 8 Tesla Supercharger stations. On sunny days, the EVs will charge from solar energy, literally.

The power plant was built without using valuable land in an urbanised area. At the same time, it protects the cars from the heat and reduces the need for snow clearance on the site.

The fact that the power plant is located close to a place of heavy electricity consumption means that the electricity grid, which has been growing considerably recently due to the intensive development of renewable energies, is not overloaded.

The installation of the power plant was based on a SOLIPORT designed and manufactured structure with a water drainage system that turns the standard solar modules into a watertight roof.
